02.27.08 - 'An Exercise In Vigilance' has been accepted into the "Young Directors Night" at the Los Angeles Contemporary Museum of Art (LACMA). The acceptance letter was quite complimentary:

Congratulations! We are pleased to inform you that your short film An Exercise in Vigilance has been selected for LACMA Muse's Seventh Annual Young Directors Night. Among hundreds of submission, An Exercise in Vigilance shined through as an excellent case of fresh filmmaking and we are proud to showcase it as part of our program.

Young Directors Night takes place Saturday, March 29, 2008 and we are hoping you are available and interested in participating. This year's format changes from previous renditions as we shift from simply a showcase to a competition. We are in the process of assembling a Host Committee to act as a panel of judges that, along with the audience vote, will determine the winner of the newly minted “Art of Film” award, celebrating best in show.

Please let us know if you will be able to attend the event. It will begin at 5 pm with the screenings, which will be followed by a Q&A among the host committee, directors , and audience. After the program in the theater concludes, a reception and award ceremony will occur in LACMA's Central Court featuring appetizers, cocktails, and live entertainment.

Congratulations again on making such an exceptional film.
